While I have always loved weddings, the story really begins at my local Panera Bread eating dinner with my mom and dad. As a freshman at the Fashion Institute of Technology, I really wanted an internship. My mom suggested Kleinfeld Bridal, and the rest is history.
Throughout my ten years of working in the bridal industry, I’ve seen thousands of gowns, witnessed hundreds of gown appointments, been the target of bridezilla-ism, appeared in a few episodes of Say Yes to the Dress, and have even worked with some of the best bridal designers, event designers, florists, makeup artists, and photographers out there.
My 11 years of experience has taught me all of the ups and downs of the wedding world, and now, I hope to share my experiences and learnings with you to make your wedding planning as stress-free as can be. That being said, I hope these newsletters get your creative juices flowing or at the very least makes you forget about how peonies totally aren’t in season and now you have to sell one of your kidneys to achieve your dream wedding flowers (jokes).
Thank you so much for being here!
Just a few fun facts about me:
*I danced from the age of 4 to 18 and competed since I was 11. I recently started dancing again, but this time I’m learning Irish dancing for the first time.
*I graduated from FIT with a bachelor’s in Fashion Merchandising Management with dual specializations in buying/planning and product development. Although my writing doesn’t always reflect it (I like to keep it casual), I also have a minor in English.
*When I graduated with my associate’s degree in 2014, I was the Valedictorian of FIT’s School of Business & Technology.
*I was a panelist for The Bridal Masterclass in Philly in 2019.
*If I didn’t work in social media/fashion, I would be a registered dietitian or event designer. (Technically I would be a fashion designer, but I can’t sew to save my life).
*My full-time job is social media management and copywriting. I’ve also dabbled in event design.
